Meet Mary Ojo, Founder of Almost Gen Z.

Almost Gen Z is a blog exploring stories, ideas and topics from the digital age.

Mary is a (Association for Project Management) qualified Tech Project Manager, currently delivering business transformation projects, for the City of London. Mary is pursuing a career in film directing, film production, and screenwriting. Mary recently completed her debut screenplay and is in the development stage, of a feature film project.

Mary directed live productions and plays, as Director of Queen Mary University of London's African and Caribbean Society.

Mary created, directed and produced a London-wide cultural show called "Charisma." The show included live performances from internationally acclaimed band Cover Drive; Afro beats artists Maleek Berry and Mazi Chukz also performed. Vox Africa provided media coverage. The sold-out production fundraised for the African and Caribbean Leukemia Trust.

As Director, Mary partnered with companies Herbert Smith Freehills, KPMG, The Queen Victoria Olympic Park, Supermalt and Dominoes. Mary delivered a programme of events and projects, while leading and managing a team of 12 society officers.

Additionally, Mary created, produced and directed several plays, including a play called "Heaven's Gates", for a London based society.

Mary holds a bachelor's and master's in History, from Queen Mary University of London. Mary holds a Level 7 Association for Project Management Qualification.

Mary is a qualified project manager; experienced in directing, managing and leading teams, across several public sector organisations.
